Configuring the Google XML Sitemaps plugin to work with W3 Total cache

After trying to add Google XML Sitemaps with W3 Total cache, I faced the problem of the error page appearing when browsing the map. The important thing is, after I did a simple search for a solution to it, I found on the site of the addon programmer that he had made a note regarding this matter, which is simple settings that you make to work with adding the cache without problems

To solve this problem, go to the Page cache settings to add w3 total cache and select the map as shown in the following image:

w3 total cache sitemap xml pagecache - WordPress Magazine

After that, save the changes and then go to the Browser Cache settings as shown in the following image:

w3 total cache sitemap xml browsercache - WordPress Magazine

Copy the code below and place it in the place indicated in the image above

[a-z0-9_\-]*sitemap[a-z0-9_\-]*\.(xml|xsl|html)(\.gz)?

Don’t forget to save your changes and empty the cache to add w3 total cache
